Dodiodo
Enduring Affinity for Storytelling Brands
People
Dodiodo is organized to be nimbly responsive to our brand storytelling Advisory clients, and our own IP development for niche markets while technology, culture, and industries continue to converge and shift. Our flexible model supports collaboration with brands and creative partners, focusing resources where they matter most. A core group of trusted partners and advisors are our constants. We expand our capabilities when needed, drawing from four decades of relationships with experienced individuals and firms in IP development, branded entertainment and media, storytelling, production, distribution, licensing, research and data, publishing, and digital marketing.
Dodie Jacobi
CEO | Executive Producer
Dodie Jacobi leads Dodiodo’s Advisory practice and IP development with 40 years building products, ventures, and resilient strategies in innovation sectors where planning for an uncertain future is routine. She brings experience that spans the converging industries shaping modern brand storytelling — media, entertainment, IP, technology, and innovation — collaborating with Jim Henson’s Muppets, Harrison/Erickson (creators of the Phillie Phanatic), Children’s Television Workshop, PBS’s History Detectives, Hallmark, the Kauffman Foundation for Entrepreneurship, Sprint (now T-Mobile), Universal Press Syndicate, and The Kansas City Star. While advising hundreds of other business owners, she also founded 10 for- and not-for-profit ventures, including the first gift registry aggregate, the first for-profit business incubator, and novel delivery models for the entrepreneurship support, legal professional, and consulting industries. She launched Dodiodo in 2016 to develop her own intellectual properties and collaborate with market-leading brands in media and entertainment. Dodie lives in Hyde Park in Kansas City, Missouri, with her dog Simon and cat Fiona. She knits, tap dances, and rides her horse Taye in choreography to music and along happy trails.
